ok happy hr Allen Cay cubalibras /conch salad hey I think you have a fish(rods on back of boat
at anchor)on the line he put the conch slime on. woa... a big one man.hey did you see that
jump??? we snagged a 5ft stingray.. he was "get me off this hook man" & jumping till he broke
the line very cool..off to Norman Cay anchor up N at anchor Im at helm ,big winds I hear turn
around quick turn around . why we will head into the rocks?I lost my FLIP FLOP,can you
believe it. Well thanks to Cari & Dion the net saved the day . N took the helm(no way am I
heading for the rocks in the wind for a FLIP!) Im laying down now on the deck w/my trusty net
YEA got it..so off we go line in water to fish ZOOOOOM a hugh guy N grabs the rob lets rumble
big guy.. crap he breaks a 90lb test line. N says oh I bet he was 400 lbs whatever.. We get to
Norman Cay. the famous Columbian drug runners cay in the 80's its fantastic all that is there is
a sm I mean like our driveway on Interwood airstrip 2 huge homes on the pts, big gardens and
sm roads leading to little look out sheds I guess. its all burnt up but it looks like it was really
something.. back for happy hr. the plan was to head for Warderwick Cay there is a park there
but.. no space you have to reserve a mooring & no anchoring,crap so we move to other side of
cay calmer and CLEAN ICK .. oh on the other side of the Cay is my tatoo.. a tiny island w/one
palm in the beautiful blue water .. I knew it was here.. off to happy hr. still having fun. Ill try to
keep these shorter & not bore ya. K&N

hi all new update .. we left Marsh Harbor (abacos bahamas) at 7 pm tues eve. a friend we met here last time
emailed us and was coming to MH from Florida to sail w us on on his boat. he got in about 3 so off we go.
fantastic clear night w/ full moon.. could not beat it. we even were able to pull out of the slip w/o knocking down
the peer hey we are getting better. so sailed down to Eleuthera its still in the Bahamas but now we are heading
towards the exumas( all diff island groups).. we sailed for 18 hrs.. anchored in a beautiful bay called royal cay..
dropped anchor w/o any causalties. it even stuck 1st time YEA. N still had to dive the anchor Im waiting for the 80
degree water. when we got here it was quiet and 3 boats now im counting 15 I guess we arent the only ones who
found it HA took dinghy to land and explored an old fort w / lots of diff stone buildings and a stone path to other
side of Isl.. very cool. n is knocked out and I already had my nap will get together w/other boat for dinner and
head to spanish wells in the am. cioa ILY

well we made it to marsh harbor & guess what we are on the f'in fuel dock again( just for one night) the slip was
still occupied. anyway huge people to people reception at the place next door,for winter res/sponsered by the
minister of tourism all the big ex. from Nassau. so great food,rum drinks and all kinds of prizes. a limbo contest NO
I didnt.. than a bunch of people with fantastic head dresses and drums start danc'in to awesome African /calypso
music I was loving it an grov'in.. they did this for about 45 min just kept danc'in around the bar(outside) at the end
a few people come up an told me I WON the junkanoo dance contest!!!1st I did not know there was a contest 2nd I
didnt know i could junkanoo!! too funny but I won round trip ticket to palmbeach/ft lauderdale. cool huh. I also
smoozed w/ the abaco tourism director and got a fun t-shirt w/ 2 hands of different colors shaking ( ya know a
cultural thing I love it) and cari we did NOT have our camera!!here is another good one.. we dock and the guy
next to us was the chief pilot for p&g. he knows dales brother and dad .. way to small world.. so we are going to
restock a "few "things head for the store with back backs its only a mile NO biggy.. well we kinda of got carried
away. 85lbs later ( really ya all know neil put it on the scale)we treck home.. fist pick up fresh fish and stone crab
claws...get back head for FREE happy hr at the bar.. and back to the boat.. still hav'in fun in the sun..OH someone
had the NERVE to say they like my hair. I havent figured out how much neil pd them ILY

HI all. we are anchored off of red bay in the abacos.. headed over here after we woke up in Bakers bay and all the
boats were leaving.. winds were picking up and we were the LAST to get it. figures..today started warm & sunny.
so we decided to play barber shop. I needed a hair cut ,have new clipper from x-mas and neil was bored OH NO..
well lets just say after a few rum & cokes I feel a bit better. N did ok if he wants to look at a fuzzy bowling ball (his
words)!! we are still speaking!! so we sitting on the deck and looking at the clouds" my those are dark and
strange" needless to say its a few hrs later we have 30 mile hr. wind boat is rocking & its pouring rain. HUM I
guess we need to read weather better. Good news our anchor is holding(we wont end up in the rocks). the waves
are rolling us around. fun!!! really it is. We are taking turns checking topside,that way we cant be blamed if we
disappear(just kidding moms& kids) I feel like I'm in the movie perfect storm..put on the slicker and off we go..to
check the dinghy its ok but swim ladder is down N was just about to go down the steps to pull it up when wow a
huge wave ripped up our platform ok maybe we will leave it.. All this activity is NOT stopping N from dinner ,he just
whipped up a steak/salad & fried potatoes..Ok ciao for now fun in the sun/storms like always..K&N hey does
anyone know the frequency for the BBC?

happening" place on the cay.boy was it.. a many layered bar/ rest. on the best beach ever. fun the" happening"

we took a long walk today to other side of isle 5mi.one way its called new plymoth kind of cool old and sm the walk
was fun great little beaches along the way. we are thinking now to try to hit Venez. by june (cuz hurricane season
and insurance)Neil was a grump and took the dinghy out yes. and ran aground ha! glad i wasnt there.. he said e
felt better it was like getting on the harley going fast ..

we finally left marsh habor and sailed about 20-30 miles N to GT cay. nice sail warn out no big events UNTIL we go
to the place we decided to anchor.. on our chart plotter you put in pts where you want to sail to make a course..
anyway I put in the last one cuz i found a cool place to anchor outside of a harbor(cuz we cant get in untill higher
tide) so when we were getting to that pt I check the screen and it shows us ON LAND!!! i check again & so does N ,
it was ok the chart is wrong a bit off good thing it was not night I would have freaked. Also when we went to drop
anchor it wont work we had to do it by hand(which isnt working right either something is stuck) and it sucks the
anchor is a heavy one(cuz we have a windless-power)plus we have chain so we finally got it in..happy hr and bed..
went check out the little place today w dinghy I drove home again & it took 5 circles lols for me to get the D to the
back of our boat I was pee'in my pants laughin and N was yellin(not mean funny) go this way /thatway/slow down
/reverse(which ididnt know we had) ok happy hr time again,, we are all by ourself and I went to shower on back of
boat big wind/ storm rain and power boat close full of fishin guys!nice huh.. by the time i got in slippin in soap it
stopped ha!!

sat nic easy sail to marsh harbor.. to get graeme to the airport. no problems. we got a dock space cuz we need to
have work on the windless(achor), and engine . nice place they have a pool laundry and internet ill check out tom.

Heading for Great Guana Cay... nice start.. tricky passage very shallow in the atlantic rocks on both side cool oh
no engine stops!! we need it to control through the passage.. & we have a fish on line! MORE SAILS cool we are ok
with sail, engine works later??? fantastic sailing 8 knots huge swells(cari you would hate it).. lockers leaking all over
for cab bed. everything WET. head in to GGC again tricky and shallow to get to anchage we are ok.. Sh windless
doesnt work( to put anchor down) ok we are heading for rocks ! NOW WHAT moring ball out there we call in to see
if it is ok to use. fine. we get the ball hooked up Sh we hit... stuck on a cement block N goes in we get off ok and pull
moring line in YEA.. oh yea hugh fish on line this time while we are heading in and takes EVERYTHING cedar plug
and all.. as we hook up line gets into prop.. N gets it out ok .. Just another day in paradise!! bring the rum!OH

HI.. alrighty we had a great adventure on royal island came back for a nice dinner. N is cooking away Im reading
& ZOOMMMMM a big huge thing flys by..BAT BAT BAT Im also fly'in but under the table for those who know the
boat that is not an easy thing to do and I managed it in 1/2 a sec..OK its not a bat its a HUGE black moth really
6/7 inches and fat. N plays "the man" and chases it with a plastic bag it lands in the sink N does a double take
,which means maybe it is a bat.. NO just a fat ass moth.. the moth gives up and lands in my rum & coke glass ok
he likes a good drink..cool fine out ya go a few min later he is back I think hes after my cubalibra..
thursday off we go to spanish wells beautiful day we sail over to the opening of a harbor everything is cool CRAP
we hit! we hit! dah the gage says 3ft 9 we have a 6ft 5 draft.. ok now what rock fore/aft fore/aft nope still stuck
only we can piviot hey hey.. a sec later a guy come by and tells us what line to toss him and we are yanked off.
hey good news we got off quick and no water gushing in . needless to say N doesnt appreciate my optimistic view
oh well.. we radio our friends who were ahead and say ok we are off be right in "he says fine but we are aground
now!! finally we all get in settled and off for a dinghy ride. absolutely gorgeous bay, we beach the dingy &
explore.. as we explore we see a boat hanging around and numerous boats meet up with it for a sec or so &
leave. hum bahamas boats, fast deals what could they be up to??? N decides all he slimy snails on the rocks are
just like escargot.. yea right he collects them and when we get back we have happy hr w/ spanish wells
escargot!! really it was good.. but what is not good in butter a garlic. we all had a nice dinner 6 of us N cooked
lobster and steak fun night and so far no ramifications from the slimy snails keep your fingers crossed!!ILY
